Why assess

Most Organizations Have Controls. Fewer Know How They Add Up.

The assessment shows how your existing controls align with recoverability, so you can invest where it matters.

  • Recovery objectives that were set but never tested
  • Plans that no longer match the environment
  • Dependencies nobody has mapped end to end
  • Evidence that would not satisfy a board, auditor or insurer

Questions the assessment helps explore

What Leadership Usually Wants to Know

Can critical systems recover?

Do recovery objectives match what the business needs?

How current are recovery plans?

Do they reflect the environment as it is today?

What evidence exists?

Test results and records, not only policies.

Where do third parties fit?

Which providers are part of the recovery path?

Is leadership prepared?

Who decides, and how, during a disruption?

Where should budget go first?

Which improvements reduce the most recovery risk?

What you receive

A Clear Picture and a Practical Next Step

At the end of the assessment you receive an executive report describing the current situation and the gap to the desired state.

Each finding carries a level of risk and a recommendation, so the report can guide decisions and next steps.

What you may receive

  • Scope and criticality overview
  • Observed findings, with a risk level for each
  • Exception register
  • Prioritized improvement recommendations
  • Executive summary for leadership

Assessment scope and deliverables are agreed before work begins. Technical restore testing and coordinated recovery exercises are included where specified.

Questions

Assessment FAQ

How long does an assessment take?

It depends on scope and the number of critical services. Timing is agreed with you before work begins.

Who needs to take part?

Usually an executive sponsor, IT or technology leads, and the owners of critical services. Key providers may be included where they are part of the recovery path.

What do we receive?

An executive report with findings, a risk level and recommendation for each, and a prioritized roadmap.

What does it cost?

The fee depends on the critical services, recovery environments and validation work included. We agree the scope, deliverables and fee with you before work begins.

Does it help with cyber insurance?

It can support insurance conversations by organizing recovery evidence. It does not guarantee coverage, pricing or renewal. See Cyber Insurance Readiness.
